This is a concept we certainly stand behind, so we were excited to investigate which ingredients this company picked for their fibromyalgia relief supplement, Fibro-Ease and whether this product is worth your valuable time and money. BioSpec Fibro-Ease is described as a highly specialized formula that is designed for those who suffer with muscular pain, tenderness, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
We were happy to see that this product is manufactured in the USA and has a GMP certification but it’s ultimately the formula that gets you the results, so does this product have what it takes?
Is BioSpec Fibro-Ease Effective?
We liked that the list of ingredients is clear to see with the amount of each ingredient clearly listed. It’s always important to us that a company is fully transparent with the ingredients it offers. However, the ingredient list seemed to go on, and on. We counted 24 active ingredients, which to us, seems over the top when just a few key ingredients will do the same job. Of course we were surprised to note that the few ingredients that we researched to be effective at combating fibromyalgia symptoms, did not all appear in this extensive formula.
We noticed that BioSpec did include Vitamin D3 to combat deficiency, as well as a highly absorbable Magnesium, but we were confused as to why they didn’t include MSM, a crucial ingredient that is highly effective as an anti-inflammatory and reducing fibromyalgia symptoms and pain. Nor did they include Bacopa monnieri nor Boswellia serrata extract, two herbs that are reputable for lowering stress levels and boosting blood supply to the joints, respectively.
While there is a generous amount of Magnesium included in this formula, there seems to be a less generous amount of everything else. We don’t believe that so many ingredients are necessary in order for the product to be effective. We were glad to see that there are positive reviews online claiming that this product works, however there were also negative reviews stating that this product did nothing for their symptoms.
We liked that this product offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. This shows us that the manufacturer believes in its product, although we think 30 days is a very short time to assess whether a product is truly effective or not. We think a guarantee for a bit longer would have been more generous than a mere 30 days.
Is BioSpec Fibro-Ease Safe?
There are no mentioned side effects of taking this product. As with any new supplement or diet introduced into your daily life, we always advise talking to your healthcare professional about possible contraindications of any pre-existing medical conditions or medications that you are taking. We appreciate BioSpec’s policy in constantly updating formulas based on the most current research and quality of ingredients, so we were slightly confused that we found only 2 clinically researched ingredients in their Fibro-Ease formula for fibromyalgia. With such an expansive list of ingredients, we were disappointed that it did not include formidable ingredients such as BioPerine®, Bacopa monnieri and Boswellia serrata extract that are clinically researched for boosting bioavailability, relieving stress and stimulating blood flow to the joints. Sometimes less is more. We believe that with just a few integral ingredients, this manufacturer could have created a winning formula that would be sure to combat fibromyalgia symptoms.
